I have professionally known Mr. Palaniappan and Mr. Suresh Gehani since 2002. They were then with ICRA Advisory Services, and I was a Member at the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC). Subsequently, after I became Chairperson of MERC in 2005, Palaniappan and Suresh started ABPS Infra along with their ex-colleagues from ICRA. Thus, my association with ABPS Infra has been a long and fruitful one since its inception in 2005. This professional association continued during my tenure as Chairperson of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), 2008-13.

I could always rely on the professional and techno-economic assistance of ABPS Infra on several matters faced by the MERC and CERC during my tenure at these institutions.
